HOW TO REACH US
The airport of Palermo Falcone-Borsellino (Punta Raisi) is about 35 km from the city centre and is well connected. The road to take is the A 29 motorway towards Palermo and once in the city follow the signs for the centre.
Besides the possibility of taking a rental car or a taxi (the cost of the Punta Raisi airport/city centre and vice versa is around € 40), there are two equally convenient solutions: train and bus.

The terminus is always the Central Station of Palermo, but the bus makes intermediate stops. The most convenient way to reach Palazzo Sovrana is via E. Amari stop n. 5, at the Politeama theatre. From there just walk for about 500 meters to Piazza Verdi. The trips run from 4 am to midnight and last about 50 minutes. Ticket cost around 6.30 euros.

The Trinacria Express train connects Falcone-Borsellino airport with the city centre and makes several stops. You can get to the terminus Palermo Centrale Station or get off at the previous stops (coming from the airport the stops within the city are: France, Palermo Notarbartolo, Palazzo Reale-Orleans and Vespri). From Palermo Central Station, take via Roma or via Maqueda and, in both cases, continue straight ahead for about two km. The one-way ticket costs € 5.80, departures go from 5 in the morning to about 22; they have a frequency of about 30 minutes and a journey time of 45 minutes-1 hour. The service is managed by Trenitalia. Therefore we advise you to consult the website www.trenitalia.it for updates and schedules.
Disembarking at the port of Palermo, it will be enough to go up again from via E. Amari to the Politeama theatre and then to continue on the left for about 500 meters up to piazza Verdi, from there turning left into via Bara all'Olivella, there is the main entrance of Palazzo Sovrana.
